Missions
Making Disciples
Our approach to missions is based on the premise that the Church exists to glorify God. Our efforts in missions are directly linked to seeing the non-believing world, both at home and abroad, become worshipers of God. As part of the overall vision of the church, we see eager people strategically investing a steady stream of resources into making disciples wherever we are positioned to make a difference.
Local Missions
Jesus said, "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'" (Mathew 22:37-39)
We believe that the greatest aspect of loving our neighbors as ourselves is to see them become disciples of Jesus Christ. This is the goal and primary emphasis of our local missions efforts.
We partner with several local ministries that are committed to making disciples by helping to meet the spiritual and material needs of those in our community.
Global Missions
Jesus said, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." (Matthew 28:19-20)
At Christ Community Church we are committed to seeing the nations embrace the good news of Jesus Christ. To this end we partner with 22 families and individuals across Africa, Asia, and North and South America.
Short-Term Missions
Due to our extensive missions connections, our church regularly sends out short-term teams to partner and to serve with our global missions partners. Whether you're young or old, there is an opportunity for you.
