Volunteer Opportunities
At Christ Community Church we believe God has uniquely gifted each of his children to serve the local church. Some are gifted to serve in public ways, others are gifted to serve behind the scenes. But all are equally called to serve. Check out the list of opportunities below and consider where God might use you.
Section Title
Greeters & Guides
Welcome guests at the doors with a smile and help them find their way around the building. If you enjoy meeting people and helping them feel welcome, this is the opportunity for you.
Welcome Table
Help answer any questions from guests--whether that's how to find the bathroom or how to get involved at the church.
Ushers
Hand out bulletins, help guests find a seat, serve communion and pass the offering plates. Serving as an usher is a great opportunity for those who have a heart for hospitality.
Guards/Security
The security team helps to provide a safe environment for our weekly worship services and midweek events. At times our team will also help with parking at large events.
Music Team
Use your musical gifts--whether vocal or instrumental--to help lead the congregation in worship.
Children & Youth
If you have a desire to invest in, connect with, and see kids come to a deeper understanding of Jesus, this is the place for you. All volunteers must go through a thorough background check, interview process, and approval by our program staff.
Tech
If you're interested in helping with livestreaming worship services, working the soundboard, advancing worship slides, or taking photos or videos of ministry events, we have a spot for you.
Funeral
Our funeral team cooks and hosts dinner for families who have funeral services at our church. Come be a part of a team that extends God's love to grieving families.
Facilities
If you have some carpentry know-how, enjoy working in the yard, or simply love to help out as needed, our facilities team would love to have you.
